Gestamp South Carolina LLC Announces Expansion in Union County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gestamp South Carolina LLC, a producer of automotive components, today announced plans to expand its facility in Union County. The more than $51 million investment is expected to generate at least 100 new jobs.

Fehrer Automotive North America LLC Announces Expansion in Spartanburg County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Economic Futures Group of Spartanburg County today announced that Fehrer Automotive North America LLC will expand its production operations to a site in Spartanburg County. The company expects to make a capital investment exceeding $14 million and to generate 130 new jobs over the next five years.
KION North America expanding operations in the Lowcountry
COLUMBIA, S.C. – KION North America, a member of KION Group AG, which is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of industrial trucks, will be expanding its Dorchester County operations. To accommodate increased customer demand, KION will be investing $5.7 million in its existing operations, creating more than 50 new jobs over the next five years.
Fukoku America expanding its Laurens County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Fukoku America, a manufacturer of rubber and plastic automotive products is growing its operations in Laurens County. The expansion is expected to bring $13.9 million in new investment and lead to the creation of 65 jobs.
