As part of its 3Phase initiative, the S.C. Commerce Office of Innovation is launching a workshop series aimed at educating S.C. businesses on how to write grant applications for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grants.
The SC Cybersecurity Assistance Program (SC-CAP) provides funding and assistance for defense contractors to comply with DFARS 7012 and NIST 800-171 Standards for cybersecurity. The program, which provides funding and resources for companies to comply with the cybersecurity standard, is funded by the Department of Defense’s Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA) through SCDEW, and is being coordinated by SC Commerce and SCMEP.

The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Business Center – Columbia, SC in partnership with South Carolina Department of Commerce, will host The Ultimate Capital Workshop on February 27, 2020. The Ultimate Capital Workshop is geared to help small, women and minority-owned businesses build a solid financial infrastructure to better attain business funding.
The daylong event will take place at Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, located at 1101 Lincoln Street in Columbia, SC.
