Export University 201: Compliance will provide attendes with information on how to be in full compliance with a host of US export regulations. Discussion will focus on the proper standards by which to determine origin and how to label the origin of items.

Automotive Export 101: Learn the Basics of Exporting

Export 101 is an introductory training, which is a first step in a series of courses on exporting that are offered to South Carolina companies throughout the year. The purpose of these is to help companies begin or expand export activities and to gain skills that will assist them in growing your international sales.

Export Training: Incoterms 2010

How can you use incoterms to minimize your company's exposure, reduce risk, save money and even increase sales? Attend this half-day export training session, and learn how to determine responsibilities between buyer and seller through transfer of risk, insurance, documentary requirements and cost of freight through proper use of incoterms. 

The registration cost is $125 per person until January 22 and $175 per person after January 22.

Harmonized System (HS) and Schedule B Classification

This program will help you understand the Harmonized System and the Schedule B listing for exports. We will learn and review the six GRI (General Rules of Interpretation) used to classify every product. We will go through instructor and CBP-based sample classifications using each of the GRIs. By using the CROSS system, we will show how CBP reviews binding ruling requests and what that means for your products. After the training, you will know where to go for help and what to look at when beginning to look at your own products.
