Lindsay Fox, founder of Linfox, which is one of the world's largest logistics firms, once said, "Personal relationships are always the key to good business." This statement certainly rings true for Team South Carolina. After all, our team operates the way any great sales organization does. We go where the customers are and build relationships with them.
This week, a lot of our customers -- specifically those in the aerospace industry -- are participating in Farnborough International Airshow 2018; and, therefore, so are we. In addition to S.C. Commerce staff, South Carolina is well-represented with a delegation that includes Gov. Henry McMaster, leaders from several of our economic development allies and even some existing industry partners. As is the case each time this biennial event is held, this week's trade show provides a great opportunity to put Lindsay Fox's words into action and strengthen relationships with industry leaders from around the world. By doing so, we'll be able build upon South Carolina's status as a major player in the global aerospace industry.
