South Carolina is on the edge of an innovation boom. All across the state, people are working hard to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem. In recent years, both Charleston and Greenville have received national attention for their start up and tech communities, and Columbia was just named as one of the best markets for fast growth companies by Inc. Magazine.
In 2013, to support the needs of South Carolina’s dynamic tech community, S.C. Commerce created the Office of Innovation. This year, in an effort to build on statewide unity and promote South Carolina success stories within the innovation and knowledge sector, the office is launching a new, comprehensive website.
The site will be one that encourages audience participation. Therefore, the Office of Innovation is inviting South Carolina firms and organizations that are part of the innovation marketplace to help populate the site with resources.
