Dixie Poly-Drum Corporation rebuilding Hampton County facility

$1.1 million investment to create 84 new jobs

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Dixie Poly-Drum Corporation, a leading manufacturer of plastic safety and workplace efficiency products, is rebuilding its facility in Hampton County after a fire forced the company to close its doors six months ago.  The company plans to reinvest $1.1 million in rebuilding the facility, creating 84 jobs.   

Established in Hampton County in 1984, the Dixie Poly-Drum Corporation is a leading developer and manufacturer of plastic safety and workplace efficiency products, including safety barricades and the patented Supershipper Drum, some of which are manufactured with 100 percent recycled plastic post-consumer resin (PCR). 

Dixie Poly-Drum will begin hiring associates immediately. Positions to be filled in the renovated 36,000-square-foot facility, located at 28 Dixie Poly Drive, include operators and production supervisors.
