Augusta Fiberglass Coating Inc. expanding into Bamberg County

$800,000 investment has generated 69 new jobs

COLUMBIA, S.C.Augusta Fiberglass Coating Inc. , the nation’s leading manufacturer of custom fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) equipment,  is expanding in Barnwell and now in Bamberg County. The company’s $800,000 investment in new manufacturing equipment has created 69 new jobs. 

The expansion, which is ongoing, will accommodate the company’s growing client demand at its current location at 86 Lake Cynthia Road in Blackville, S.C., and its new facility in neighboring Bamberg County.

Augusta Fiberglass Coating is an ASME RTP-1 accredited manufacturer. The ASME RTP-1 accreditation is a universally recognized standard in the FRP industry, providing holders with rules governing materials of construction, design, fabrication, quality control and inspection of FRP vessels.
