Eaton, a global leader in intelligent power management technologies, today announced it is growing its South Carolina footprint with new operations in Union County. The company’s $340 million investment will create 700 new jobs and establish a new manufacturing facility for three-phase transformers, critical to the nation’s power grid and across industries.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – HII (NYSE: HII), a global defense provider, announced it selects Berkeley County to establish the company’s first South Carolina operation through the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of W International SC, LLC and Vivid Empire SC, LLC (collectively, “W International”), a South Carolina-based complex metal fabricator specializing in the manufacture of shipbuilding structures, modules and assemblies.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Cardiff Products Corporation (Cardiff Products), a beverage manufacturer, today announced it selects Lexington County to establish the company’s first South Carolina operation. The $99.6 million investment will create 94 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Boeing (NYSE:BA) today announced it plans to expand its operations in Charleston County. The company plans to invest $1 billion in infrastructure upgrades at its existing site and create 500 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Meyn America, LLC (Meyn America), a leader in poultry processing solutions, today announced it is growing its South Carolina footprint with an expansion in Oconee County. The company’s approximately $50 million investment will create 172 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – NUPI Americas, Inc. (NUPI), a plastic fabrication company, today announced it is expanding its operations in Hampton County. The company’s $7 million investment will create 30 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Today, the South Carolina Department of Commerce announced Magna International (Magna), a mobility technology company and one of the world’s largest suppliers in the automotive space, is growing its South Carolina footprint. The company will establish a new satellite operation and expand its existing operation in Greenville County. Magna’s combined investment of approximately $200 million will create around 200 new jobs across both facilities starting in 2025.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – AFL, a manufacturer of fiber optic products and equipment, today announced it is expanding its manufacturing operations across Spartanburg County. The company’s $155 million investment will create over 150 new jobs over the next two to five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Portland Bolt & Manufacturing Company (Portland Bolt), a fastener and bolt manufacturer, today announced it is expanding its operations in Edgefield County. The company’s $4.3 million investment will create 21 new jobs.

Founded in Oregon in 1912, Portland Bolt manufactures nonstandard anchor bolts and construction fasteners. The company acquired its North Augusta manufacturing facility from Southern Anchor Bolt in June 2024, allowing it to effectively reach East Coast customers.
