Opportunities for vaccinating our workforce against COVID-19 are increasing – help us complete the mission! DHEC is focused on getting more vaccine specifically to companies and employees. Here is how you can participate.
Some of you have an approved provider with whom you have been working. Your provider has recently been notified that it can begin reaching out to private sector companies and begin planning how best to deliver vaccine direct to your employees. Likewise, if you have a provider relationship, reach out to your provider. Discuss the specific doses you need, and how they can best be administered.
If you do not have a provider, DHEC would like to hear from you. They have a very simple nine (9) question survey, which will help them match you with a provider covering your area. Please take the time to complete the survey. DHEC will respond promptly.
In summary, there are two options every company has to help get employees vaccinated.
- If you have a provider, reach out to them and find out your status. Vaccine is becoming more broadly available.
- If you do not have a provider, please complete the brief survey and press “submit”. DHEC will follow-up, matching you with a provider.
Your actions allow more South Carolinians to get vaccinated, foster health and safety for your employees, and support economic recovery across the state and will also help to get us closer to herd immunity.
