Expansion will create 30 new jobs
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Kontane Logistics, Inc., a third-party warehousing and industrial packaging solutions company, today announced plans to expand operations in Berkeley County. The company’s expansion will create 30 new jobs.
Founded in 1975, Kontane Logistics, Inc. offers a variety services, including warehousing, packaging and distribution. Additionally, Kontane Logistics, Inc. specializes in providing just in time (JIT) solutions to the truck and automotive manufacturing industry.
Located at 830 Drop Off Drive in Summerville, Kontane Logistics, Inc.’s new facility will be used for light tire and wheel assembly for Volvo Cars. It will also provide for the expanded support of line sequencing and other value-added services offered to Volvo Cars’ supply network.
