Bennettsville Printing success story
Hometown textile business growing
Bennettsville Printing was founded in Marlboro County more than 30 years ago as a part of the state’s rich textile industry. The company provides textile printing, dyeing and finishing services for home, industrial and military use — specializing in printing camouflage fabrics for the US armed forces. Having printed more than 90 million yards of fabric and 100 patterns of military camouflage, Bennettsville Printing is investing in South Carolina for future success.
Strengthening South Carolina’s textile roots
The fabric printer’s recent $8.4 million expansion effort was announced to update production equipment, perform building improvements and create 24 new jobs. South Carolina and Marlboro County economic development professionals have worked closely with Bennettsville Printing to support long-term growth and keep the state’s textile industry strong.
“At Bennettsville Printing, we are proud to deepen our commitment to Marlboro County, the state of South Carolina and our local community. … We look forward to continuing our role as a key contributor to the local textile industry and the prosperity of the community we proudly call home.”
