SC global business support

Let us help launch your business into the global marketplace

Rhythmlink is a medical device company based in Columbia and our relationship with the DOC (SC Commerce) is a great example of how the state and local economy benefit by working together. Over the past 15 years Rhythmlink has grown from a small team of 10, to employing 85 people and shipping products to all 50 states in the U.S. We approached the point where growing our business globally became feasible. The challenge for us has been building the know-how to expand internationally, and getting connected with the people who have expertise in overseas global medical device expansion. We are so grateful to the Trade team’s help in resourcing and connecting us with MEDICA and the World Health Expo (WHX) trade shows where Rhythmlink's leadership met with key customers and were introduced to key contacts who could advise on legal, regulatory, commercial, and operational logistics.
