COLUMBIA, S.C. Kimberly-Clark Corporation (Kimberly-Clark), a producer of personal care products, today announced it is expanding its operations in Aiken County. The company’s investment of over $200 million will create more than 150 new jobs. 

Founded in 1872, Kimberly-Clark's well-known brands, including Cottonelle, Huggies, Kleenex, Scott and more, are sold in over 175 countries. The company is headquartered in Texas and has more than 40,000 employees worldwide.

Milo's Tea Company expanding Spartanburg County operations

COLUMBIA, S.C.Milo’s Tea Company (Milo’s Tea), a leading beverage company, today announced it is expanding its operations in Spartanburg County. The company’s $53 million investment will create 80 new jobs.

Headquartered in Alabama, Milo’s Tea is a family-owned company that crafts high-quality, freshly brewed tea and closest-to-homemade lemonade. Ground was broken on the Spartanburg County facility in March 2023. Once complete, it will house a brewing, bottling and distribution operation.

AAC East, LLC expands Marlboro County operations

COLUMBIA, S.C. – AAC East, LLC (AAC East), a producer of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), today announced it is expanding its Marlboro County operations. The company’s $6 million investment will create 25 new jobs.

AAC East produces and distributes AAC, a sustainable, lightweight and energy-efficient alternative to concrete, used in commercial and residential floor and wall systems. The company’s Bennettsville facility provides AAC blocks and panels to customers across the eastern U.S.

Maxwood Furniture expands Marion County operations

COLUMBIA, S.C.Maxwood Furniture, a manufacturer and distributer of solid wood furniture, today announced it is expanding its operations in Marion County. The company’s $6 million investment will create 43 new jobs.

Headquartered in Charleston County, Maxwood Furniture is a family-owned and -operated company that designs, manufactures and distributes solid wood furniture products. The company offers distinct product lines and custom furniture design for customers globally.
