COLUMBIA, S.C. Asis Boats USA (d/b/a Ocean Craft Marine), a rigid inflatable boat manufacturer, today announced it selects Horry County to establish the company’s U.S. manufacturing headquarters. The $10.8 million investment will create 93 new jobs.

Horton expands Oconee County operations

COLUMBIA, S.C. Horton, a cooling solutions manufacturer, today announced it is expanding its operations in Oconee County. The company is investing $15 million in its Westminster facility.

Founded in 1951, Horton is a global leader in thermal control for power systems, offering technologies for transportation and industrial applications to operate at the optimal temperature. The company operates 15 facilities and has a presence in 70 countries.

SODECIA AAPICO Joint Venture selects Orangeburg County to establish its first South Carolina operation

COLUMBIA, S.C. – SODECIA AAPICO Joint Venture (Sodecia Aapico JV) today announced it selects Orangeburg County to establish the company’s first South Carolina operation to support Scout Motors. The company’s $120 million investment will create up to 392 new jobs.

SODECIA and AAPICO – both family-owned, global automotive manufacturers – are combining the companies’ core strengths and innovative capabilities to manufacture advanced ladder frames for a key automotive sector customer, Scout Motors.

COLUMBIA, S.C.Baxter Manufacturing, a supplier for the plastics industry, today announced it is expanding its operations in Oconee County. The company’s $15.7 million investment will create 36 new jobs.

With more than 40 years of experience, Baxter Manufacturing is a family-owned, full-service supplier to the plastics industry. The company’s Oconee County operation, established in 2017, is a Tier 1 supplier of manufactured plastic injection-molded automotive parts.
