Headquartered in Turkey, Mega Metal manufactures copper wire to serve critical industries including automotive, medical, aerospace and defense, and more. The company has over 700 employees and distributes products to more than 30 countries.

Aerowerks selects Cherokee County to establish first US operation
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Aerowerks, a manufacturer for the food service industry, today announced it selects Cherokee County to establish the company’s first U.S. operation. The company’s $10 million investment will create 52 new jobs.
With more than 40 years of experience, Aerowerks specializes in the manufacture of custom material handling systems, including return conveyers, tray accumulators and dish machines, for the food service industry. The company currently operates a production facility in Ontario, Canada.
Kimberly-Clark Corporation expanding Aiken County operation
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Kimberly-Clark Corporation (Kimberly-Clark), a producer of personal care products, today announced it is expanding its operations in Aiken County. The company’s investment of over $200 million will create more than 150 new jobs.
Founded in 1872, Kimberly-Clark's well-known brands, including Cottonelle, Huggies, Kleenex, Scott and more, are sold in over 175 countries. The company is headquartered in Texas and has more than 40,000 employees worldwide.
Techo-Bloc selects Lexington County to establish first South Carolina operation
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Techo-Bloc, a landscaping products supplier, today announced it selects Lexington County to establish the company's first South Carolina operation. The $45 million investment will create 46 new jobs.
With factories in Illinois, Indiana and Pennsylvania, Techo-Bloc specializes in manufacturing high-quality hardscape products for residential and commercial outdoor spaces. The company has more than 850 employees and distributes products to over 900 stores across the United States and Canada.
Lift-Tek expanding Oconee County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Lift Technologies, Inc. (Lift-Tek), a material handling manufacturer, today announced it is expanding its operations in Oconee County. As a subsidiary of Cascade Corporation, the company’s multimillion-dollar investment will create 41 new jobs.
Founded in 1999, Lift-Tek designs and manufactures masts, carriages, integral sideshifters and fork positioners for the material handling market. The company’s products are used in industrial trucks, automated guided vehicles, telehandlers, forklifts and more.
