Southeast Crescent Regional Commission (SCRC) Investing in South Carolina’s regional growth
Through SCRC, eligible South Carolina communities can pursue competitive grants for projects that strengthen infrastructure, expand economic opportunity and support long-term regional growth.
SCRC investment in South Carolina
The Southeast Crescent Regional Commission is a federal-state partnership supporting economic and community development across a seven-state region. SCRC invests in projects that address persistent economic challenges and help communities build the infrastructure, services and capacity needed for future growth.
In South Carolina, the program is administered by SC Commerce’s Business Incentives and Community Development division in coordination with the Governor’s Office and regional Councils of Governments. The state’s SCRC region includes 39 eligible counties.
SCRC investment priorities
