In September, Charter NEX Films announced plans to establish a new $85 million specialty film manufacturing plant in Richland County. Now, having selected Hoffman Planning, Design and Construction, Inc. to construct the new 140,000-squre-foot facility, Charter NEX is looking for various subcontractors and suppliers to assist with the project.
That’s why Hoffman, S.C. Commerce and Richland County are collaborating to host a subcontractor and supplier outreach event on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Taking place at the Manor at Doko Meadows in Blythewood, S.C., the event will allow attendees to gain information about the current status of the construction project, it’s upcoming schedule and the pre-qualification process. Additionally, prospective suppliers will be able to learn about various requirements, qualifications, processes and timelines.
