Hannah Horne is a familiar name and face across South Carolina having spent 13 years as the morning anchor at WIS-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbia. Hannah has been honored with several awards for her reporting, anchoring and commitment to community service.
Hannah’s professional trajectory changed after earning her MBA in International Business from USC’s Darla Moore School of Business. Since 2013, Hannah is the Vice President of Public Policy and Programs at the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce, a five-star accredited, three-time national chamber of the year. She is involved in all aspects of helping the Chamber’s members grow their business though education, workforce development, small business programs and political advocacy. She also leads the Chamber’s adult and teen leadership programs. Hannah completed her fellowship with the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executive’s Education Attainment Division and has recently been selected by the US Chamber as a Business Leads Fellow, working with other chambers to solve education and workforce issues in their communities.
Hannah’s community service includes having served on the Town of Hilton Head Island’s Arts and Venue committee and the Highway 278 Corridor Committee.
Hannah enjoys travelling, is often reading three books at a time, and swatting at golf balls. You might also find her at Providence Presbyterian, as a member of their choir and active in children’s ministry.
