WorkReady SC Initiative
The WorkReady SC initiative provides a common language defining skill levels for South Carolina employers and job seekers and provides credentials for South Carolina workers. It is based on the WorkKeys® Job Skills Assessment System.
The system:
- connects work skills, training and testing for education and employers;
- makes it easier to meet the requirements of federal programs and legislation;
- supports economic and workforce development programs and
- is the basis for the National Career Readiness Certificate.
