Community Development Block Grant Resources
The CDBG Program requires an applicant to submit a request for an application. Application requests can be submitted at any time, however, for the Community Investment and Local Planning Programs, they must be submitted at least thirty (30) days prior to the application due date. Please review the Program Guidelines before submitting an application request.
Requests are reviewed by Grants Administration staff and if it appears that the proposed project will meet program guidelines, an application is sent to the unit of local government or their representative. Refer to the Calendar of Events page for application request deadlines. Potential applicants are encouraged to submit a request in advance of the 30 day deadline to enable time for review, clarification of questions, and transmittal of the application.
