Commerce's International Department offers a variety of services to help in-state businesses accomplish their export goals.

  • A number of trade-related strategies are provided to assist companies looking to enter the global market, some of which include: market briefings, how-to seminars, evaluating a product’s export potential and identifying key foreign markets for products and services.
  • The International Department’s "public-private" partnership with Export Financial Services, Inc. (EFS) and South Carolina’s official city/state partner of the Export Import Bank of the U.S. (Ex-Im Bank) provides support to South Carolina companies in need of export marketing assistance, export financing, export credit risk insurance and other trade-related financial assistance.
