SMALL BUSINESS REGULATORY REVIEW COMMITTEE
The Small Business Regulatory Review Committee (SBRRC) reviews new and existing state agency regulations that may adversely impact small businesses and suggests the implementation of more flexible alternatives to ensure regulatory compliance. The SBRRC has reviewed promulgated agency regulations issued since 2005.
The Committee, which is comprised of private-sector small businesses, was chartered to ensure that South Carolina’s small business community has a level playing field on which to compete. Small businesses facing problems with a state agency regulation can call or write the Small Business office at the Department of Commerce to explain their difficulty with the regulation.
